The village is located in the Kuda river valley (Angara river tributary), in Ust-Ordynsky Buryat Okrug of Irkutsk Oblast. Ust-Orda is surrounded by long ranges of hills from the West and the East, with the approximate height of hills being 700 meters. This is an extraordinary and amazing view. About 3km from the village there is a mountain called Bulen, which up until today is famous for its religious and sacred practices of the Buryat people.
